Sending a Secure Email to Non-County Recipients Using Outlook 2021
To send a secure email to someone outside the county, follow these steps:

Compose the Email:
- Open Outlook 2021 and compose your email as usual.

Add "[secure]" in the Subject Line:
- In the subject line, type [secure] (including the brackets) followed by the subject of your message.

Email Body and Attachments:
- Write the body of your email as you normally would.
- If you need to include an attachment, add it as you typically would.

Send the Email:
- Click Send. Your email will be sent as an encrypted message.

Recipient Instructions:
- When the recipient receives the email, they will be prompted with steps to access the secure message.
- They will need to click on the provided link in the email.
- Next, they will be prompted to create a password to secure their account.
- Once the password is set, they can access their inbox to view the message.
- The email containing these instructions will come from delivery@sonicsecuremail.com.
- When the recipient receives the email, they will be prompted with steps to access the secure message.
